Acceptable Use Policy
Effective October 8, 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything you do with Hikma, and to everything Hikma does at your direction. Hikma acts as you, so an action it takes for you is held to the same standard as one you take yourself.
1. Act only with access that is yours
- Connect only accounts you are authorized to use, and use them within the permissions you have.
- Do not use Hikma to access any account, system or data without authorization, or to get past technical measures that limit access you do not have.
- Do not impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent who a message comes from.
- Follow the terms and policies of the services you connect.
2. No harm to others
Do not use Hikma to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights;
- harass, threaten, defame, stalk or intimidate anyone;
- commit fraud or phishing, or deceive people into giving up money, credentials or personal information;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages from your connected accounts;
- collect personal information about people at scale for surveillance, profiling or sale;
- make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person, such as credit, employment, housing, insurance, education or healthcare, without meaningful human review;
- create or distribute malware, or attack the security of any system;
- produce or share sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violent extremism or terrorism, or instructions for weapons capable of mass harm;
- interfere with elections or civic processes, including through impersonation or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
3. No harm to Hikma
Do not:
- probe, overload or disrupt the Service, or bypass its usage limits or security;
- reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it;
- resell or sublicense the Service, or give others access to your account, without our written agreement;
- create multiple accounts to get around plan limits or free-credit allowances;
- use the Service or its output to build a competing product or to train AI models that compete with Hikma.
4. Model provider policies
Hikma uses AI models from the providers listed on our Subprocessors page. Their usage policies also apply to content processed through them.
5. Enforcement and reporting
If we believe this policy has been broken, we may block a request, stop a run, disconnect an integration, or suspend or close an account. Where the risk allows, we will tell you first. To report misuse, write to legal@tryhikma.com. To report a security vulnerability, write to security@tryhikma.com.
